Test schedule
  • Test 1Wednesday, March 2 (in class). Material covered in class through February 24 (and associated reading material) is included for this test. You may bring 1 two-sided sheet  (standard 8.5 inch x 11 inch size) of handwritten notes to the test. See the Lecture Summary page for the reading material listing.

  • Test 2:  Friday, April 8 (in class). Material covered through April 2 (and associated reading material) is included for this test. The questions will be primarily on material covered between February 20 and April 2 (including dynamic hazards), but an understanding of the other material included for Test 1 may be necessary. You may bring 2 two-sided (standard 8.5 inch x 11 inch size) sheets of handwritten notes to the test.

  • Final examination: From 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (two and half hours duration) on Tuesday, May 10 in Everitt Laboratory rooms 151 and 168. The final exam will be comprehensive. You may bring 3 two-sided sheets (standard 8.5 inch x 11 inch size) of handwritten notes to the final exam.
